- 1 kg. roast beef
- 600 g. small potatoes with peel
- 2 kg. kitchen salt
Cover a roasting pan with kitchen salt, put the beef in the centre, surrounded by the potatoes. Evenly cover the meat with the rest of the salt. Put in hot oven for 50 minutes. Take off the salt crust both from the beef and the potatoes, cut and serve hot.
